Every Appointment begins with understanding YOU. Here is what you can expect from your first visit and how we will work together to create a plan that is right for your hair.
Your First Visit:
Starting with a new Hairdresser is an important decision and it can feel intimidating. My goal is to make your first experience at VISUAL GRAMMAR feel thoughtful, collaborative, and comfortable from beginning to end.
Every appointment begins with understanding your goals,your hair history, and how you want your hair to support your life.
Before We Meet
After we connect, you will receive a Hair Design Questionnaire.
This questionnaire helps me understand:
-Your goals
-Hair history
-Previous color and chemical services
-Current care, maintenance and styling routine
-Lifestyle
-Maintenance Preferences
-Inspirational Photo references(not required but helpful)
-Current Photos of your hair (not required but helpful)
The goal is not paperwork, it is understanding.
The more I know about you before we meet, the more intentional we can be during your appointment.

Whether you have a clear vision or aren’t sure where to begin, the first step is simply reaching out.
At this time, new client appointments are scheduled personally through email. This allows us to have a conversation before scheduling, ensuring we are choosing the right service and allowing enough time for your visit.
Discover
Every appointment (whether you are a new client or existing client) begins with a thorough consultation. There are no right or wrong answers during our consultation. My goal is not to test your hair knowledge or convince you to choose a particular service. It is simply to understand you.
We will discuss the following:
-What you like about your hair
-What you dislike about your hair and what isn’t working.
-Your daily routine
-Your long-term goals
-Maintenance expectations
-Whats realistically achievable.
Rather than choosing services first and asking questions later, we will create a plan together that reflects both your vision and what is best for your hair.
Design
Once we understand your goals, we will build a personalized plan.
Sometimes that plan leads directly to the results you are hoping for.
Sometimes that means taking a more gradual approach to protect the long-term health and integrity of your hair.
The best plan isn’t always the quickest one- but one that gives us the strongest foundation for long-term success.
Every recommendation is made with intention- not routine.

VISUAL GRAMMAR is intentionally designed as a one-on-one studio.
That means:
-No double booking.
-No rushing.
-No competing conversations.
Just dedicated time to focus on thoughtful hair design in a calm environment where communication, creativity and technical expertise come together.
